Finding the Pattern to Connect

What if you could tap into your greatest motivations and dramatically improve your relationships and accelerate your results? Your individual personality affects every aspect of your life. That’s why one of the best things you can do to grow yourself and others is to understand your personality and what naturally drives you.

When you recognize your strengths and weaknesses, you are able to give your best as you work with the people around you. People are different but predictably different. Everyone you encounter is motivated differently, communicates differently, and views tasks and relationships differently. Through the workshop, you will explore ways to: •Understand how others are different and how to work with each personality. •Build a stronger team that communicates, appreciates the style of others and works well together. •Learn effective strategies for handling conflict.

After this workshop, you will be able to notice patterns in other peoples’ way of communication, understand how others are different and how to work with each personality, and learn effective strategies for handling conflict.

Audience TARGET: Everyone

As a club officer we are in contact with many people with different personalities and expectations and it is important to know what to expect from people, how to prepare and how to respond to them to have a successful relationship. When people work as a team conflict arises and it is important to know how to handle and how to respond to it in an effective way. •In negotiation and communication– when we are able to identify the other person’s patterns we can respond to meet their needs, to make our message clearer and to get the buy-in easier. •Preparing a meeting – when we are able to identify the type of personalities people have in a meeting, we are able to prepare the meeting according to their needs and the probability that our message goes across is higher. “

Gabriela Nicolae Dospinescu is a people booster and limiting beliefs buster, and started to be passionate about human potential when she was in middle school, and she supported her pears in unlocking their possibilities. During her studies, she supported young adults in discovering their strengths and how they can use them by being a volunteer trainer in an NGO. After studying Psychology, School Counselling and helping children for 6 years to find their voice, she followed her husband, and she found herself in a new country, without speaking the language without any possibility to work. After a few months, she realised that the skills and knowledge she had developed along the years were still there, and she could use them to build another career. Like the Phoenix bird, she analysed her strengths and talents, used her creativity and persistence and rebirth from her own ashes. Now she follows her passion: to facilitate sustainable change in organisations and people’s lives and support them to become closer to who they are and achieve their dreams.

“I joined Toastmasters 3 years ago, and I am one of the founder members of The Bridge Speakers in Dusseldorf. I am the Mentorship coordinator, and before I was the Membership VP. I finished my CC, and the most significant achievement I had was that my mentee that I coached won the 3rd place in a District Conference. My goal in Toastmasters is to enable people to achieve their dreams.”
