Monday 25 AugustMichelle Sabatini will present a workshop titled “Embodied Communication – how to promote a culture of positive communication”.
The workshop will explore how to connect with our body in moments of stress or discomfort to support more positive and authentic communication. How can we maintain a positive and open attitude – even when we feel insecure, anxious, hurt or irritated? By learning simple releasing physical tensions exercises and using the four principles of Non-Violent Communication (NVC) – Observation, Feelings, Needs, and Requests – we will create a framework that helps us to keep an attitude of openness and connection.
Participants will leave with: * More awareness about their physical signs of stress and tension and practical body-based tool to calm and centre themselves. * A structured framework to support positive, embodied communication, even under pressure. * A deeper understanding of how their physical state influences their body and presence. [Register]
Thursday 21 AugustFun Quiz! Learn while having fun. Bring your whole committee, and compete against other committees. Questions like ‘When are Club Fees due?’ Plus fun ones like ‘What is Ralph C Smedley’s middle name?’ [Register]
