Rethorical Battles (Table Topics session)
Sunday 2nd December 10:30pm (Salone Teodora – Deck 5)
On the Mediterranean sea, as pirates, we are going to challenge each other with special table topics.
Pirates: Giada Sartori & Tanya Jordan
Giada said: “Never underestimate a girl who loves kickboxing and was born in December”.
Giada Sartori is a fighter by nature. She is driven by the desire to experience life as a (re)evolutionary journey.
Inspired by the unique power of the Toastmasters family, Giada propose herself to present the “Rhetoric Battle” during the first Toastmasters’ Floating Academy, together with her best friend Tania Yordan.
Fellow Toastmasters, if you have never met Giada, we assure that the Rhetoric Battle is the perfect occasion during which you should not underestimate her fighting skills and dynamics, typical of a Sagittarian’s kick boxer.
Tania said: “I never done this before” is one of the sentences I have repeated over and over again in my life.
After joining Toastmasters, I have done so many things I had never done before like: delivering speeches about my strengths and my weaknesses; helping organise a Summer School focused on Debates; building strong relationships with people from all around the world. Now…. another challenge: to present the Rhetoric Battles, during the first Toastmasters’ Floating Academy…. together with the person who introduced me to Toastmasters: Giada Sartori”.
